Britney Spears has once again been taken from her home by police and paramedics and forcibly admitted to a hospital. Apparently Britney's manager/friend Sam Lutfi notified her psychiatrist, who decided that she needed to be admitted. Britney's mother Lynne protested what was happening.
About 1:14 a.m. Thursday, approximately a dozen LAPD cars and motorcylces escorted the ambulance carrying Britney to the UCLA Medical Center. By 1:58 a.m., Spears was admitted on a "5150 hold", which means she will be held in the psychiatric ward for up to 3 days. As one could easily imagine, the media and paparazzi came out in droves to catch a glimpse of the action.
